🎤 The Walrus Talks is back in person!

We asked Event Manager Emma Mackenzie Hillier to share what she's looking forward to learning about at The Walrus Talks What's Next?, and why you won't want to miss this special event.
"One of the perks of my job is speaking with The Walrus Talkers about their topic and talk. I'm thrilled to have a dynamic group of speakers for next Wednesday, from The Walrus's own editor-in-chief, Jessica Johnson, speaking on the future of media and furthering her thoughts on her 2022 The O'Hagan Essay on Public Affairs, to Chief Cadmus Delorme who will discuss Truth and Reconciliation in the wake of the discovery of the 751 unmarked graves found near Cowessess First Nation, to Dr. Shannon Lloyd who has some concerns about how exactly we establish sustainability goals and the policy and thoughts that inform them (science-based may actually mean value-based). Our final event of the Spring 2022 season promises to be an invigorating night of thoughts and ideas, and I hope you'll be able to join us in person or online."
